A Treat for the Senses: the Wabash Farmers’ Market

May 07, 2018

Browse through vibrantly colored, just-picked local produce, farm-fresh eggs, cheeses, and meats, pure golden honey, and mouth-watering baked goods. Savor the succulent aroma of barbecue while you shop for handmade soaps, birdhouses, furniture, and other artisan-made products. Join us on May 19, when the 12th season of the Wabash Farmers’ Market officially opens for the spring. Dozens of the region’s finest farmers, orchards, cheese makers, bakers, and other vendors will be on hand. Be sure to bring the family along – we’ll have live music and fun activities just for the young folks too.

This weekly market has become a tradition and eagerly-anticipated event in the city, with thousands of shoppers converging on downtown Wabash every Saturday morning from May through October. In addition to the items mentioned above, the market also offers local gourmet treats, berries, homemade jams and pie fillings, nuts, candies, and woodworking exhibitions.
