Now Blooming at Charley Creek Gardens

September 12, 2016

Downtown Wabash offers much to our guests at the Charley Creek Inn in the way of dining, entertainment, shopping, and historical treasures. But, for those in search of serenity and nature’s beauty, it’s often a surprise to find The Charley Creek Gardens are only a few steps away.

Owned and managed by the Charley Creek Foundation, this non-profit horticultural center stretches out over six acres of downtown Wabash, and its features include a waterfall, hedge maze, shade gardens, walking/jogging paths, a conservatory, meadows of indigenous plants, a labyrinth, and gardens filled with flowers. For those who want to learn more about plants and landscape architecture, there are books and computers located in the Research and Education Building, and tours are available.

Whether you’re in search of an after-dinner stroll, an invigorating jog, learning more about gardening, or just need to recharge with some quiet nature-viewing, you’ll appreciate the safety, scenery and relaxation of Charley Creek Gardens.
